A suitable replacement for pozzolanic elements like lime. Its principal uses include soil stabilization, waste remediation, solidification of oil field waste, replacement of lime in paint, pozzolanic replacement in precast goods, and lime replacement. Due to its great surface area, CKD is frequently used to solidify low pH sludge and neutralize acids. Additionally, CKD has been utilized for foaming asphalt and as a mineral filler in asphalt concrete mixtures.
